The Chocolate Blonde Cookie Bar

Ingredients
Chocolate Cookie
1 cup salted butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups demerara sugar
2 large eggs
1 tbsp bourbon vanilla
2.5 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 of dan-d pak dark chocolate cocoa powder
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Blondie
1 cup unsalted butter softened
2 cups flour
1tsp baking powder
1 cup demerara brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup white Belgium chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. First, in a stand mixer, make the cookie dough. Cream the butter, sugars, eggs, cocoa powder, and vanilla in a stand mixer. Next, add the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Once thoroughly mixed, add in the chocolate chips. Press the dough evenly into the pan in a greased (with butter) 12x7 pan. Next, make the blondie dough. Cream the sugars, eggs, salt, vanilla, and butter in a stand mixer. Next, add the flour and baking powder. Once combined, add the white chocolate chips and then spread the mixture over the top of the cookie dough. Bake for 1 hour. Flip the pan upside down on a cooling rack. Cut into 12 or 24 pieces. Eat on their own or with ice cream!
