Everything But The Hot House Salad
Serves: 4 as a side Prep time: 20 min Chill Time: 30-60 min Total Time: 50 min
Ingredients
2 bell peppers (red, yellow or orange) cut into strips
1 long English cucumber peeled or unpeeled, sliced in half, and chopped into pieces
Dressing
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1.5 tbsp white sugar
1 heaping tbsp Hofstede’s Everything Bagel Seasoning
Directions
Chop your veggies and place into a salad bowl. Next combine the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl and whisk together until the sugar disolves. Pour over the chopped veggies and let stand in the fridge 30-60 minutes before eating or overnight. This chilling time allows the flavours to meld together, enhancing the taste of the dish. Enjoy with your favourite grilled meats!
Notes: You can add tomatoes to this as well. We recommend using cherry or grape-style tomatoes cut in half.
