Weeknight Steak & Potatoes

Serves: 4-6 Prep time: 10 min Cook Time Time: 30 min Total Time: 40 min

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp salted butter

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 pound potatoes chopped into chunks & par boiled

1 1/4 lb sirloin steak cut into cubes

3 tbsp herbs crushed garlic

2 tsp thyme

2 tsp rosemary

1 tsp oregano

1 tbsp Montreal steak spice

Directions

In a skillet pan on med/high heat, add butter, 1 tbsp olive oil, all herbs, garlic and your par boiled potatoes. In a separate bowl add your steak, balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp olive oil and steak spice. Toss and set to the side. Once your potatoes are fully cooked and have a nice golden glow place them in a bowl and put to the side. Next turn up your skillet to high and put in your steak bites and sear each side and then turn down and cook till desired doneness. (make sure there is no excess liquid in your pan. If steak has alot of juice pour some out mid cooking) Then add your potatoes back in and lightly toss together for about 3 more min on med high. Serve with a garden salad or Caesar salad and enjoy!

Notes: You can use fresh or dried herbs.

Garnish with more herbs or green onion.
