One Pot Creamy Tomato Beef Orzo

Serves: 4-5 Prep time: 10 min Cook Time Time: 20 min Total Time: 30 min

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 large onion chopped

2 tbsp Herbs Crushed Garlic

2 tsp chilli flakes

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 cups tomato sauce

1 cup uncooked orzo pasta

3/4 cup beef broth

1 cup cream or homogenized milk

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

2 cups chopped spinach

salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Cook beef in a med-large pot on med heat until cooked. Add onion and cook for 4-5 mins. Next stir in the garlic, chilli flakes, Italian seasoning, and uncooked orzo. Cook for about a minute and then add tomato sauce, beef broth, cream/milk & Worcestershire. Bring to a bubble, then turn down slightly and cook for 10 minutes while stirring often. Remove from heat and add the spinach and parmesan and cover for 5-10 mins. Season with salt & pepper to taste and serve immediately. Enjoy it on its own or with a salad and garlic bread.
