Grandma Sharon’s Cobbler

Serves: 6-8 Prep time: 20 min Cook Time:1 hour 4

Total Time: 1 hour 20 mins

Ingredients

1/2 cup salted melted butter

Batter

3/4 cup flour

1 cup milk

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

Fruit Mixture

4-5 cups blueberries & blackberries

3/4 cup sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Combine your fresh or frozen berries with 3/4 cup sugar in a bowl and set aside. Next, whisk together all the batter ingredients. Set aside. Next, pour the melted butter into a 9x13 baking dish and evenly pour/scoop your batter on top (It won’t look perfect and won’t spread the whole way, so don’t worry! You can even do small dollops throughout the pan to space out the batter if that’s easier) Next top with your sugar berries. Place into the oven on the middle rack and bake for 1 hour. When you pull it out, you will see that your batter has risen to the top! Serve with fresh whipped cream or ice cream! Enjoy!

Notes

You will want to eat this as soon as it comes out of the oven, as it has the most amazing buttery crunch! (It’s still ok the next day, too, but you won’t get that crunch!)

This recipe can be made with any of your favourite fruits!
