Serves: 4-6 Prep time: 25 min Cook Time:15

Total Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small yellow onion diced

1 156ml can tomato paste

2 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp demerara brown sugar

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

s&p to taste

1 loaf French or ciabatta bread

2 cups shredded mozza

Garlic Butter

1/2 cup softened salted butter

2 tsp Herb’s crushed garlic

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. In a saucepan, cook the ground beef until almost no pink is seen, and then add the onion. Once the meat is fully cooked and the onion slightly softened, add tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire, sugar & salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-10 mins, and then turn off and let it cool slightly. Next, combine the butter and crushed garlic in a small bowl. Slice the bread loaf into two halves and spread the garlic butter on both halves. Next, top with your meat mixture and top with the mozza. Place in the oven for 12 mins and then switch the setting to high broil for 3-4 mins (Watch closely. So it doesn’t burn). Slice into pieces and eat it as is, or serve with a salad. Enjoy!

Notes:

Sneak some veggies by dicing peppers, mushrooms, or zucchini in the meat mixture.
