Double Chocolate Peanut Chip Cookies

Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone, but this is our very own recipe for double chocolate cookies. We just substituted the regular chocolate chips for peanut chips because who can resist peanut butter/chocolate combo??

Serves: 30-36 Prep time: 25 mins, Cook time: 10 mins, Total time: 35 mins

Ingredients

Cookies

1 c butter, soft

1 3/4 c sugar

1/2 tbsp vanilla

2 eggs

3/4 c cocoa

2 c flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 c white chocolate chips

3/4 c peanut butter or regular chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat again. Add dry ingredients and thoroughly mix. Stir in chocolate/peanut butter chips.

Roll into tablespoon size balls or use cookie scoop to make cookie dough balls. Arrange on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie. Flatten slightly with your hands or a fork.

Bake for 8 minutes at 350. You want these to be soft and chewy when cooled, so don’t overbake! They always settle when after they cool, so it’s important to take them out when they still look slightly underone.

Cool and then store in an airtight container for up to a week. Best enjoyed immediately!
