Crunchy Hot Honey Chicken
Serves: 4 Prep time: 15 min Cook Time: 30 mins
Total Time: 45 min
Ingredients
4 cups crushed cornflakes
4 eggs
1 heaping tsp smoked paprika
1 heaping tsp of Herb’s Crushed Garlic
4 chicken breast filets
Hot Honey
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a large, shallow bowl, crack in four eggs and whisk together with the smoked paprika and crushed garlic. Set aside.
Pour the crushed cornflakes into another large, shallow bowl.
Dip each chicken breast filet in the egg mixture and then coat it in the cornflakes. Repeat this step for extra crunch!
Place the coated filets on a cooling rack set over a cookie sheet. Drizzle hot honey onto each filet. (Line the cookie sheet with parchment if you wish, as the honey will drip a bit)
Bake for 30 minutes and enjoy with your favourite salad or some tasty spuds!
Enjoy!
Notes:
We love Dript’s Hive On Fire Honey, but any hot honey or regular honey will work.
If you can’t find chicken breast filets, simply slice a whole chicken breast in half lengthwise.
