Ingredients

Bami

400g Wide style noodles (Conimex Mie Brede Noedels - Aisle 1, Garofalo Tagliatelle Nido - Aisle 7)

Conimex Bami Spice Mix (aisle 1)

1/2 c red pepper, chopped

1 c green cabbage, chopped

1 small leek, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 lb pork or chicken, sliced in thin strips

salt & pepper to taste

Peanut Sauce

1/3 c peanut butter, smooth or crunchy

1 tbsp peanut or sesame oil

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp vinegar

1bsp minced garlic

1 tsp ground ginger

2 tbsp brown sugar

1/3-1/2 c water

Tabasco sauce, to taste

Directions

Bami

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain and cover.

Fry red peppers, leeks, and cabbage in 1/2 tablespoon olive oil until soft. Add garlic and saute 30 seconds more.

In a separate pan saute pork in remaining olive oil, until cooked through and browned. Season with salt and pepper as desired.

Mix the bami spice mix with a couple tablespoons of boiling water. Add spice mix, vegetables, and pork to the noodles. Stir everything together and warm, stirring constantly.

Serve with homemade peanut sauce and a fried egg on top!

Peanut Sauce

Heat all ingredients in a sauce pan, stir until smooth. Adjust water for desired thickness. Serve warm.
