Skyview Backyard Ribs

Serves: 4-6 Prep time: 20 min Cook Time Time: 3 hrs min Total Time: 3hrs 20 min

Ingredients

4 racks of side ribs

2 tbsp dried onion flakes

1 tbsp Montreal steak spice

2 cups ketchup

1/4 cup mustard

1/4 cup honey

1 tbsp demerara brown sugar

2 tbsp smoked paprika

Directions

Preheat your bbq on high (All burners on). In a bowl, mix everything but the onion flakes, steak spice & ribs. Then In a 9x13 metal baking pan, fill it with about an inch of water and stir in 3 tbsp of your sauce mixture. Coat the top of each rack of ribs in a light layer of sauce, sprinkle with the onion flakes & steak spice, then place them in the baking dish and cover the pan with foil. Next, turn off the two middle burners on your BBQ and turn the two outside burners to med-low (the grill should eventually sit around 300/350, adjust later if needed). Cook for 3 hours indirectly on your bbq. Remove ribs from the pan and directly onto the grill. Coat with remaining sauce (each side) and cook for about another 10 mins. Serve with your favourite side. Enjoy!

Note: If you don’t have a bbq, you can do the same in your oven. Just use your broiler at the end but keep a close eye on the ribs!
