Holiday Puffs

Serves: 6-8 Prep time: 40 min Cook Time Time: 30 min Total Time: 70 min

Ingredients

1lb ground turkey

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp poultry seasoning

1 pkg poultry gravy mix

1/2 cup water

1 cup cranberry sauce

1 pkg puffed pastry rolled & cut into 3x3 squares.

Stuffing:

6 pieces of sourdough bread (cut into small cubes)

2 tbsp poultry seasoning

2 tbsp salted butter (melted)

3 celery stocks diced

1 small yellow or white onion diced

pepper to taste

Directions

Set your oven to 350. Mix all the stuffing ingredients and, place in a baking dish, and cover with foil. Place in the oven for 20-25 mins. While the stuffing is cooking in a frying pan on med heat, drizzle the olive oil and cook the turkey with the poultry seasoning. Once the turkey is cooked in a separate cup, mix the gravy mix and water, then pour and mix into the ground turkey. Cook for another 5 minutes and then set aside. Next, grease a 12-cup muffin tin and line each with a pastry square. Once the stuffing is done, put it in a large bowl, let it slightly cool, and then combine it with the turkey (folding it together). Next, fill up the cups with the stuffing/turkey mixture and top them with a dollop of cranberry sauce. (You can do it after they come out if you don’t like warm cranberry sauce). Then bake for 20-30 mins. Enjoy with your favourite sides or as an appy!

Notes: I like to use the Superstore PC brand pastry because it already comes in flat sheets! (I stretch it out a bit.)
