Dad's Favourite Nougat
Makes: 40+ pieces Prep time: 10 min Cook Time Time: 5 min Total Time: 15 min
Ingredients
170g bag of wine gums chopped
250g bag of mini marshmallows
312g bag of white chocolate chips
2 tbsp of butter
Directions
In a microwave-safe bowl add your marshmallows, chocolate chips and butter. In 30-sec intervals melt your ingredients until you see the marshmallows puff up. Remove from microwave and stir ingredients together. If the chocolate isn’t fully melted return the bowl back to the microwave for another one or two 30 sec intervals until the chocolate is melted. Next, add the chopped wine gums and stir into the mixture. Pour the mixture onto a silicone baking liner or an 8x12 baking pan lined with parchment. Refrigerate until firm. Remove and let slightly soften and cut into squares. Keep in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to a month. Enjoy!
Notes: Use scissors to cut wine gums and the nougat. (You will thank me later!)
Don’t use white chipits… for some reason, they don’t melt well with the butter and marshmallows.
